About Us

The Red State Blues Band is a six-member band devoted to blues styles stretching back across the past century. The band finds its primary inspiration in electrified blues with a rock flavor, but also draws from the roots of the blues in, from Delta of the Mississippi to Chicago.

We play everything, from Willie Dixon and Little Walter, to Susan Tedeschi and Tracy Chapman.

With over 50 songs on our playlist, including originals and unique arrangements of standards, we can please any crowd!

The Red State Blues Band formed in 2005 and has been rocking Kansas ever since! With tight arrangements, from ballads to barn-burners, from rhumba to funk, we get the crowd going on the dance floor, begging for more.

RSBB has played for festivals, in large venues, at weddings and parties, and, of course, in many club settings.

The tight RSBB sound has something for everyone. The band is comfortable in family settings but can rock the best biker bar around.

We have built a loyal regional following and are deeply grateful to our fans for cheering us on all these years. Catch our show, cause the Red State Blues Band, is here to play for you!
